Development Design Services
With the rise in population and increase of people working from home, the need for properties rises each day. Property development is a fantastic opportunity to get a significant turn over in your investments by turning land into a new residential area or by turning commercial buildings into a residential block.
We can help you achieve this, by space planning and designing the best solutions for you.
Brief, Site Surveys & Research
Brief: We start all our projects by getting an initial brief to get an understanding of what you want and need.
Gathering of information & Site survey: We will go through all your existing information and plans that you have. Should you not have all the information we need, we will arrange for site surveys to gather the information we need.
Research: Depending on the project we look at the geographical location of the building/land, this allows us to choose the correct design that suits the market in that location so that you get the best turnaround possible.
Concept, Design & Research
Concept design: The design concept stage is where we pull all our initial ideas together, we narrow down what works and what doesn't.
Final design: Once the concept design is over, we finalise everything by choosing exact finishes for your walls, flooring and everything else that requires designing.
3D Visualisation: The best way to know what your end product will look like is by creating a 3D visual. This Especially works well with development projects as you get to show the potential buyer what they will be buying before its even ready.
Architecture & Technical Drawings
Construction packs: The construction pack will include all the information your contractors will need to finish the job, this will include;
Demo drawings: Demolition drawing show you what existing walls and items will be removed.
Setting out drawing: A detailed drawing with dimensions and construction information.
Lighting layout: This will show you the best locations to install your lights, all measured and ready to go.
Small power drawing: Similar to the lighting layout, the small power drawings show you the position of your sockets and at what height they will be installed.
Elevation drawings: This will show you the front view of a wall in 2D. This is normally used to help contractors understand at what height everything should be installed at.
Fixtures and fittings drawing: This drawing will work side by side with you finishes schedule and its key for contractors to know what finishes will be going where.
